8:00 p.m. and on, Free Time (Visit with other moms, relax on beach, walk or roller blade on paved path around private lake, veg out in a beautiful double hammock, kick back in the massaging hot tub, watch a movie in the theater room, row a boat or kayak out on the lake with some friends, sit around one of the gas campfires with music outside, watch the moon and stars on the gorgeous lake, play volleyball, tether ball, and there are even more choices!!

I was born and raised in the Bear Lake Valley. I have three amazing, beautiful children. Tiandra 8, Tyce 4 & Landon 1. I am married to an amazing man, Chris that is definitely the love of my life. He came along two years ago after being divorced and literally picked up my pieces. He stood by me and my two children as I became the Woman and Mother I am today. I graduated from Idaho State University in Cosmetology and have owned and worked in several salons.
I started training in Energy Work 6 years ago, and am now certified as a Foot Zone Therapist. I am now training to be a foot zone instructor through Wedofeet academy. I love what I do, the people I get to meet and all those that impact me on a daily basis. I love the outdoors, being active anyway possible, and just enjoying every second of life. Through my divorce and experiences in my life, I've come to have a new perspective. I've learned that the the only thing that really matters is achieving our full potential, learning to glow and radiate it, and sharing that with all you come in contact with!
Kwinnae will be presenting on "Empowering Yourself so you can Empower your Children." With this, she plans on including tools as a mother we can use, to not only to love ourselves, but teach our children self love as well, to realize who we really are. A Mother, wife... but also an amazing, beautiful Woman of God. With the world today I think it is very important to have a game plan on how to raise our children. Being a Mother is our most important Eternal calling. She will be teaching how to Balance, Ground, and have a Mind of Steel. She will cover the importance of affirmations with our children, and even filling your bucket as a Mother so you are energized and "full" enough to give to those most important to you. She will also touch on Gary Chapman's The Five Love Languages of Children and teach the importance of giving our children the love they need in they way they receive it.
Becky Edwards has been a professional organizer, popular speaker and author, a mom, and a homeschooler. She loves helping moms get organized, especially those with limited money or storage space. She started teaching organizing seminars sixteen years ago. She has also written for an online magazine, organizingnetwork.com.
Becky loves the feeling of having a tidy home, clean desk, and clear mind. But her nature tends to be distractable and forgetful, so she works hard to bring order to her rather ADD-ish brain. She strives to find the right balance between an orderly home and nurturing the people who matter most, including her marriage, her children, and her relationship with God. Becky loves seeing the blessings of people getting more organized: more space, time and energy for what matters most, more peace, more of God’s Spirit, and freedom to live one’s mission. It’s hard to live your mission and help your children prepare for theirs if chaos and clutter fill one’s mind and home.
Besides homeschooling her own children, Becky is a mentor for a Vanguard youth homeschooling group, where she teaches leadership, US government, and morality. Her recent favorite church responsibility was teaching institute to young single adults.
Becky has been married to Mike for 21 years, and is a happy mother of five children from ages 10 to 20. She recently became a smitten grandma! She graduated from BYU studying parenting, marriage, and therapy. Becky and her family live in Syracuse, Utah.
At the Mom’s Renewal Retreat, Becky will present several organizing systems to help transform your home and your brain so they run more smoothly, efficiently, and happily. A house of order invites a brain of order. And when Mama’s brain is in order, everything feels better.

Can I bring my baby?

Will I have my own bed?
You will be sharing with another mom. (Invite a friend so you can share with her!) You can bring your own linens to sleep on top of the bed, or be responsible the following morning to wash, dry and make your own bed. There are 8 new machines, near each bedroom area. This helps make our event affordable. Thanks for your willingness to help us out on this! :)

Is this an event for moms of all faiths?
Yes. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will have some information in our workshops that will have quotes from LDS Prophets and Scripture. We will begin and end with a prayer and bless the food before we eat. Some of the gifts will be geared for an LDS worldview. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS) and we invite ALL to attend all feel welcome.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We will be serving some delicious, healthy meals. If you have other concerns, please let me know when you register. You will have your choice of no meat, no gluten or dairy as well at each meal. We are very considerate and we will do our very best to accommodate each individual. I will be sending out a detailed menu a couple weeks before the event.
How do I justify this price for myself?
I know how tricky that can be, being a frugal mother myself. I assure you I have done everything I can to make this as affordable as possible. One of the reasons I chose this date is so we could get 'off peak' pricing for the resort. You can also 'use' the fantastic timing of the weekend after Mothers Day as an opportunity to get your Retreat as a Mothers day gift.
I am absolutely certain you will be grateful you came feeling uplifted and edified with a more powerful motivation to be the best mom you can be.
