2013 IS AN AWESOME YEAR!

It has been an amazing journey!! God has given me some really exciting ideas and I am so happy to share them with all of you!

Besides the fun events listed at the blog above, here are some more news

* We just announced a HOMESCHOOLING MOM RENEWAL RETREAT at a 5 Star Resort called "Bear Hollow Lakes Resort!" So, if you are a homeschooling mama, check that out for sure!

*My baby (Jace) turns one this Thursday! We are so excited! I can hardly believe my little Jacie is getting so big. He loves his daddy so much. You should see the way they cuddle. It melts my heart.

*I am learning how to be a professional foot zoner at wedofeet.net and I couldn't be more thrilled! I will amainly use this as a tool to bless my family's life, but will be doing an occasional foot zone here or there too.

*Our baby billy goat was born earlier this month, so that is a lot of fun!

*We went to the http://www.familyforum.co/ this past weekend and had some life changing experiences!! I took pages upon pages of notes. The best class I took was on different apps with the IPAD. I am sold on the educational reasons to get your kids one of those now. I just need to save up the money now.

He is a self made millionaire which made the class very fun! They were both amazing and there story is absolutely one to inspire. My older 2 girls were also in a class that he taught in the youth forum and they came away exploding with excitement!!

There are so many fun things in store for this year! I am having fun reading and learning a lot about energy work and how it connects with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am so thrilled to find out all these awesome quotes and scriptures that talk about energy work. I have had some fantastic experiences and I am having fun meeting lots of friends along the journey.

This is my really good friend, Becky some of our girls and little Casey peeking out over there! We went to Bucca Di Beppo and P.F. Changs in SLC. It was such an awesome weekend!! I was on the other side of the table with our other munchkins. :)

Those of you that follow me at all or know me personally know that I have a lot in common with Glenn Beck. I listen to his radio program when I get a chance. I watch his shows on GBTV.COM and my kids watch the Liberty Treehouse on GBTV.COM We find it educational, entertaining and empowering. Well, lately Glenn Beck has been challenging us to teach ENTREPRENEURSHIP to our kids! I feel super special since we have been doing just that for the last year.

 In fact, on February 18th, our we hosted an Entrepreneurship Fair with our homeschooling community. It was a raging success! We are joining in the Entrepreneurial FUN! Come help support us! Your kids can join in on their own lemonade stand and bake sale or come and support us at ours! We will be texting, emailing and sending flyers around to promote this event to our local friends and family as well! June 13, Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm.

We will be selling cupcakes, cookies, peanut butter bars, pies, banana bread and more!! Come and check us out! The location will be our home. Contact us for address and directions!

1st Annual Spring Kids Entrepreneurship Fair- NOW FILLED!

The 1st Annual Spring Kids Entrepreneur Fair!!


Come and let your aspiring business owners come and spread their wings! This is a great opportunity to let your kids learn about money, customer service, supply and demand, business planning, appearances, free enterprise, competition, demeanor, etc. You can take this as far as you want to. There our programs that you can teach this by Boy Scouts of America and there is even a 4H Packet
available for a very inexpensive fee. You can also check out things at the library or let them get their toes wet and learn by trial and error.
My cousin, Jen and I have been brainstorming for months and we are so excited to finally announce the details! We have people that will be joining us
from all over Northern Utah.

Feb 18th (Saturday) from 4 to 7 pm
Set up from 4 to 4:30 pm, Clean up from 6:30 to 7 pm.
We will start promptly at 4:30 pm!

To help pay for building rental and advertising efforts, please send a check for $2.25 (Each child selling stuff or running a booth spot)
to Tammy Ward, 4790 W 15600 N Garland, UT 84312. Include child's name and what they will be selling. If we do not have your check soon, we will be opening the spots to other interested kids. There is enough room for 55 tables total in the gym. The gymnasium we are using is 63 x 38 ft. We will have kids all the way around the perimeter as well as 4 rows in the middle, back to back. You will need to bring your own table/chairs.

Food is okay. Homemade items are great. Whatever you want! Just keep it family friendly!! Once we know what people are planning to do for their table, we will post it so that you'll all know what will be there! Oh! I will be sending out a flier that you can use to invite family, friends, neighbors, etc. to come and support us! We are asking each family participating to invite at least 10 family and friends to come and enjoy the booths and help support the kids. I am also putting an ad in the Brigham City newspaper. I will be making signs with balloons. If you have other ideas to help generate more traffic, be sure to let me know. I am very excited for these kids, who I know will be working hard on their projects and learning as they go. We want it to be a great success for them!
