Muscle Testing to Help Others

How do I know muscle testing is okay with Heavenly Father?

First of all, I take A LOT of precautions to make sure I am using His light. I have had personal revelation about this specifically and several sacred experiences. Pray about it and do what feels best for you. Here is what I do:

  • Before beginning, I ask in prayer for protection. You can do this by shielding, asking Heavenly Father to send angels to protect you or by simply asking for protection.
  • I only ask questions that are specific.
  • I ask if I have Heavenly Father's permission.
  • I double check if there is any question at all. I do this by asking, "Am I using the LIGHT of CHRIST?" Another way to ask this, "IS THIS TRUTH?" You can also ask the question, "Am I getting interference?"
I had a special experience this past week where it was revealed to me that it was not only okay, but it was what Heavenly Father wanted me to do.

My family was preparing to go on a Family Trek with many other homeschool families. There were about 125 of us in all. I am in the very early stages of my pregnancy so with morning sickness, I wasn't super ecstatic about going but  I did want to be there for my family.

My husband, Casey had a general anesthesia surgery removing two of his wisdom teeth. When he was waking up in the recovery room, my son Kaden that was with us passed out when they were taking out the I.V. He has a weak stomach like his daddy, I guess. We had to wait for an additional hour because he was vomiting and having a rough time once he came to.

With all of this going on, I wasn't quite sure if we were supposed to go or not, but after getting the confirmation from Heavenly Father we knew we were supposed to go.

Like anytime I leave to go out of town now, I went over to my essential oils, herbs and tinctures, and asked with muscle testing what I would need. Some might consider this predicting the future. I do not consider it that. I have a simple prayer in my heart that my needs and the needs of my family will be taken care of while we are away from home. I ask if I have Heavenly Father's permission too. I usually don't take that much with me, but know when I have what I should have.

The Trek:

We had a very spiritual, bonding, uplifting experience as a family. Even though my feet blistered and I struggled, I grew spiritually while there. I could feel the gratitude of my ancestors. Interesting to think that they have gratitude for us, but there it was. I knew that they did. They are grateful they were being remembered for their faith. They are grateful we were honoring their sacrifice. They love us. They know us. They are more a part of us then we will ever understand. My testimony increased greatly.

I took a small case of essential oils and a couple other things with me. It was pretty neat to reflect on the fact that I ended up using the things I took with me and what we used them for.

Lavender:  Sunburns, scratches,

Peppermint:  Morning sickness/ nausea, cooling body temp down.

MyGraine:  Headaches.

Orange Sweet:  Uplifting, happy smell

Cinnamon Bark:  I put this on my wrists as we walked. I licked my wrists every now and again. It tasted like I had a mouth full of red hots. I know there are some other things that it probably helped with too.

Serenity:  We used at night to help us sleep.

On Guard:  As an infection prevention for my husband's mouth.

Basil:  A 12 year old girl in a camp next to ours ended up with an ear infection. This helped her greatly. She only needed to use it once and it was gone.

Therma Care:  A friend of mine that went ended up with dehydration and exhaustion. She walked over to me and told me she was dizzy. I had her sit down and took off her shoes. I rubbed her feet and used the Therma Care with her. I also had a mini bottle of concentrated minerals. I put some of that in her water too. I know it helped her.

Energy:  I sure used this one a lot. This is a blend made by Butterfly Express.

Frankinsense: A little girl got slammed into by a hand cart right in her hip. It sure helped her a lot.

BBL: Natural pain reliever, this helped several people.

Arnica:  We used this great homeopathy for not just my husband's mouth, but we also used it for our sore and tired muscles. IT WAS A HUGE HELP!!!

Energy Work: WHOA. Love this. Thank you Heavenly Father for this knowledge. It has helped so many around me already.

I am so grateful that I have learned all of the tools and education. It has helped me to serve in a greater capacity, for sure. :)

I love my Heavenly Father so much and am so grateful that we has given us what we need. Muscle testing is not to replace prayer or Priesthood blessings. Please remember that. Here are some links that will help you learn.

Why am I a Foot Zoner?

I just graduated from We Do Feet this past weekend!! (Foot Zoning Academy) That's me in the pink doing some weird pose. lol

It was so neat and FUN! I made some really great friends. I learned a lot. I LOVE THESE GUYS!

I am also so excited to be official. If you'd like a foot zone and live in our area, give me a jingle at 435-553-5749. I am not doing many zones since I am the mom of such a busy household. However, zoning has changed our lives. If you'd like to find out more about it, go to HERE. My zone lasts about 90 minutes right now. Actually, the zone is free and I am only charging for the energy work which is $40 a session starting in January. I have decided to keep my prices at $25 until then. Please contact me if you want to give it a go at the lower rate.

Some people have asked why I (one of the most frugal women alive) have opted to go to the We Do Feet Academy. I mean, it's not cheap. lol It cost about $4,000 and took 9 months. It was lots of studying and LOTS of time away from my family. I will share with you my story if you want to learn more!

I will tell you it is because I am convinced that it can lead to improved health, better circulation, better relationships, hormone balance, better emotional  health, natural healing of all kinds and more. It can cleanse toxins and leave you feeling quite euphoric. I always feel the windows of HEAVEN open right after a zone. That is probably because it can clear and balance chakras too.

I don't think I could ever go a whole month without a zone simply because I now know what better balance feels like.

My last baby (Baby #7) I experienced a prolapse of my girl parts. That's not fun to share, right? I tell you this story not to humiliate myself, but rather because since this has happened to me, I now know that it happens to one out of every two women. It also is good to note that it doesn't matter your ethnicity or if you have had children or not. Whoa. It is like the biggest women secret ever. I was 33 years old and I didn't know what it was. Ugh. I truly didn't feel quite like a woman anymore. After just a few zones, I noticed quite a difference. (And believe me, I'd tried everything.)

Before trying zoning, I put myself on bed rest for about 10 days after Jace was born. I went and bought an upside down chair and got on it several times a day. I was thinking... gravity, ya know? I had also bought quite a few bulk teas that are supposed to "tighten." Sadly, they just gave my new baby a fierce rash all over his body. I discontinued that. I went to the local girl Dr. who told me (before looking at me) that he'd have to do surgery. *Um ya, there goes your credibility out the window. I mean, he didn't even look at me. He is a surgeon. I went to him for his opinion and got just that. He recommended a weird diaphragm thing but I read that it causes sores inside your vagina, along with severe odor and itching. UM, NO THANK YOU!

Nothing worked, until the zone. Actually, my first zone, it felt like a snake crawled up inside of me. I am not trying to gross you out or anything. I just know there are LOTS of women out there that are suffering with this and they have NO IDEA what to do. To know that I myself experienced such amazing results the very first time, I was ecstatic! As I continue to strengthen my muscles, release emotions that are blocked, I find continued healing for myself and others. To learn more about a prolapse, watch this short video by Dr. Oz:  HERE There are actually 2 parts to that video, so be sure to click on the one after that when you are done.

After that, I continued to zone and even paid a pretty penny to get my kids zoned regularly. I just knew it was helping. Then, I was introduced to energy work with a local woman in my stake. She is amazing! I felt the Spirit the first time I entered her home and have been back at least monthly ever since. Do you know why? We are getting RESULTS. My little 2 year old boy's testicle had been swollen for quite some time and through energy work, we were able to release some emotions that were "stuck." No surgery. No pain. Just RESULTS. I, of course cannot tell you what you will experience. (BY LAW) You will have to find out for yourself.

What have you been dealing with lately that you are about "sick of?" " (No pun intended.)

Do you have back pain? IBS? Trouble sleeping at night? Constant ear infections, yeast infections? I know some of you reading this blog right now are probably skeptical. I remember the first time getting zoned wondering what on earth she was doing. I don't blame ya. I've been there. I've also seen what it has done for my family. Why not give it a try? There are many zoners all over the place. If I am not local to you, try a zoner in your area. You can find a list here: HERE

Barley Water. Who Knew?

Thanks to my friends Janiece S and Sonja S for their amazing contribution!!

We have used it. It's always what we reach for first. In fact, I was in the hospital for a time and had a lung collapse from too much fluid input from the IV. I called my friend and asked her to sneak some barley water in to me. It worked! I was out if there two days later, rather than five, as doctors predicted.

Here's the recipe I use ( you can find various recipes of this)
 1/3 c hulled barley. 1/4 or 1/2 cinnamon stick.
1 gallon purified water ( or best you have available).
1t cream of tarter

Boil water, barley, and cinnamon stick. Lid on. Turn off, let steep 20 mins. Strain into a gallon pitcher. Stir in cream of tarter. Pour s cup and drink. Add ice as needed. You can also make ice cubes of these and store in freezer in a zip lock for emergencies ( for asthmatics). Drink as often as you feel is needed. I've been told or works faster than an inhaler for some. It's pretty much a main remedy during flu season at our house.

*********************************************************************************************
The recipe that Sonja gave is excellent!  Some people make it with lemons or other fruits or with ginger or mint.  Some people sweeten it with honey.  We like it just plain if there is no cream of tartar in it.  It is rather mild.  I only use cream of tartar for lung issues that are severe.  Actually, even the lung issues have responded well without the cream of tartar too.  I actually rarely use it.  You can find different recipes for barley water on the internet or experiment with your own as once you have the barley water, you can add what you want to it.

You also can pour boiling water over barley in a thermos and let it sit for several hours.  I use this a lot for the ease as well as just to keep it warm through rough nights where we are turning to it frequently.  My family prefers it warm when they have a cough.

You can use pearled barley, but you are getting greater benefit with hulled barley.

It is also used for many other conditions and is a great general tonic.  If you are LDS think of the Word of Wisdom ... barley for mild drinks.  We often have it in the refrigerator to drink daily.  We use in for water in various recipes, etc.

Though I have not seen all of the research or had personal experience with all of this, here is some other info I have learned about barley water.  Occasional searches on google always reveals something new and interesting about barley water.

-It contains almost all vitamins and minerals, like calcium, magnesium and potassium, zinc
apparently it is very high in magnesium which people are almost always deficient in.
-It a rich source of vit B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9 and Vit E (FOLATE!)

-It contains fiber
-It contains amino acids
-A good source of Lysine

-Beta glucans

-Reduces risk of developing type II diabetes as it helps with blood sugar levels
-UTI or kidney issues
-Cholesterol issues
-Cardiovascular health
-Maintain good bowel function or constipation -- great for digestive health
-Helps restore fluid and electrolytes balance (though I'd add salt to it for this purpose.)
-Good if you have diarrhea for the reason listed immediately above this
-Lowers risk of hemorrhoids or bowel cancer
-Fights bacterial infestations of the intestinal tract
-Lowers risk of atherosclerosis and other cardiac diseases
-Helps with gallstones and kidney stones
-Helps with cell growth and repair
-Weight loss
-Research suggests it may be helpful in treating hepatitis
-Cool barley water for fevers, to soothe and heal stomach, irritable bowels, dry coughs, diarrhea, cystitis, irritable bladders
-Laryngitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, soothe sore throat
-Excellent was for raw, itchy skin
-Colic
-Has PD41 which has a strong action on DNA = cures cell death, delays aging, cures pancreatitis, stomatitis, dermatitis, lacerations of the stomach and duodenum.
-Reduce breast cancer in postmenopausal women
-Remedy to fair up skin complexions and reduce/prevent wrinkles, softer skin
-Can be used for cleansing the skin
-Arthritis or other inflammatory diseases

Barley Water for Women
-Nutritious during pregnancy and breast feeding
-Increases lactation, soothes afterpains of breastfeeding
-Regulates digestion for mother and baby
-Helps with weight loss after baby
-Helps alleviate morning sickness and nausea during pregnancy
-Provides essential nutrients to mother and baby during pregnancy
-Improves digestion and prevents constipation and hemorrhoids during pregnancy
-Helps fight infection and diseases during pregnancy
-Prevents gestational diabetes by controlling blood sugar levels during pregnancy
-It helps prevent nasal congestion that is common during pregnancy
-It improves blood circulation during pregnancy
-Prevents high blood pressure, varicose veins and edema during pregnancy
-Prevents formation of gall stones during pregnancy

>
> So how do you cook the barley? Where do you get it from? How much do you give them. This sounds really interesting and I'd love to have it on hand when needed. Thanks so much for sharing!

>       Barley water with cream of tartar.  Cooking the barley with a bit of a cinnamon stick helps with the flavor of the cream of tartar.  This stuff is so simple and so amazing!!  We have had it help breathing, coughing, asthma, pleurisy, pneumonia and 2 yr long lung pain thought to have been caused by scar tissue until it went away with an evening of drinking barley water.  A family favorite and the first that we go to for things like this.

Tamara Laing

Tamara Laing:  I'm very happily married with 5 great kids and 5 grandchildren. I am fascinated by the science behind subtle energy therapies because they made such a HUGE difference for my family. I am passionate about researching how the field of energy medicine fits with the gospel of Christ. I find great joy in being an Energy therapist myself, helping people make peace with their past, releasing unresolved emotions and bringing light into dark places. I work in the healing arts and know that Jesus Christ is the source of all healing.

She has written a book, which I highly recommend to all of my friends called "The Healing Arts." It is available at http://tamarasbook.blogspot.com/

Katherine Atkinson

Katherine Atkinson is the wife of an amazing husband, and the mother and step-mother of six incredible children. She is a Foot Zone Therapist and is also a Foot Zone Instructor for We Do Feet Seminars. She is trained in Jin Shin Jyutsu®, an ancient Japanese energy modality, and various other energy modalities. She is the Davis County Chapter Leader for the Weston A. Price Foundation.

As the owner of Mind Body and Sole, she uses her training in herbs, essential oils, Foot Zone therapy, JSJ, energy work, and nutrition to help others on their journey to regain health, remember happiness, and recognize their gifts, ‘…for there are many gifts, and to every man is given a gift by the Spirit of God. To some is given one, and to some is given another, that all may be profited thereby.’ D&C 46:11-12.”

Kimberly Watts

Kimberly Watts: I grew up in  Perry Utah and I loved it!  When I was 15, my parents drove our whole family to Provo to meet with a man who knew Kinesiology. It was then that I began my fascination with muscle testing and energy work. I didn't do much about it until after my marriage. I was married when I was 19  to my best friend. We have been happily married for 23 years. We have 5 children. Who bring such great joy to our lives! They truly have been our greatest teachers!

I started my quest to understand energy work about 10 years ago. It started with my children getting sick. Nothing out of the normal but I just felt inside that there was something more to the ear infections,  stomach aches, bladder infections and migraines. I will be forever grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who instilled in me feelings towards energy work. It has truly blessed our family.

Since then I have taken a few classes to learn effective ways to use energy and get the results I desired.  I am a Holistic Health Coach,  certified in Foot Zone Therapy,  and a Lymphatic Practitioner.  But my truest education began on my knees. That is where I learned how to use the tools I learned in class. He is our best teacher and instructor.
My desire is to reach out and help strengthen others by helping them to understand the power within themselves. We each are divine. We just need to remember!

Sabrina Potter:

Sabrina Potter: I grew up in Brigham City, Utah.  I am married to my best friend Tyler Potter, who has always been right by my side for the past 21 years. We have 4 amazing children.  Our youngest is 7 years old and our oldest is a few weeks shy of 16 years old. I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  Time sure does fly by.
My Heavenly Father started me down this path when I found out that I was pregnant with our youngest son, and I was diagnosed with breast cancer, just a few days apart of one another.  It was through this trial in our life that I became very close with my Heavenly Father, and learned that He had a plan for me.  When we put our trust and faith in Him, He can show us the way.

Some of the modalities that I work with are Emotional Release Therapy, Radionics, EFT, and I am a certified Foot Zoner.  I feel so blessed to be a tool for my Heavenly Father.  I love helping others connect with our Heavenly Father, so that they can heal from trauma and emotions of all kinds.  True healing is between us and our Heavenly Father, but I love being a tool for Him! I love what I have been so blessed to do!

There will be free time to network, relax in the hot tub, out on the lake, play volleyball, go for a run around our private lake, or whatever you like. Each guest will choose how her retreat will go.  Register at www.hopehavenevents.blogspot.com

Positive Affirmations and Happy Thoughts!!

I absolutely love learning about the power of positive affirmations. More and more lives are being changed for the better by the validity of reprogramming of your old thought patterns. Why feel like a victim if you can be empowered? Why accept mediocrity when you can have greatness? I LOVE LEARNING ABOUT THIS! (Have you read my Birth Affirmations from last year? THEY HELPED SO MUCH!!)

Here are some great affirmations I found on a website I have been clicking on lately. I give her complete credit and would like to encourage you over to her website! I look forward to the day I get to meet her! Her name is Carolyn Cooper. She teaches the Simply Healed Method. It sounds super impressive!! She lists these affirmations as a great way to raise your vibration. I am going to print these off and put them in my kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. What other ideas do you have to raise your vibration?

www.carolyncooper.com

I am physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally balanced and healthy

I am joyful for the success of others
Money supports me / Money is my friend
There is enough money for everyone There is plenty for me
I am no longer attaching my self-worth to my doings

What is Foot Zoning?

*Our baby billy goat was born earlier this month, so that is a lot of fun!

*We went to the http://www.familyforum.co/ this past weekend and had some life changing experiences!! I took pages upon pages of notes. The best class I took was on different apps with the IPAD. I am sold on the educational reasons to get your kids one of those now. I just need to save up the money now.

The speaker's blog is http://inspirationstationfam.blogspot.com/ Her husband taught my other favorite class which was about Entrepreneurship! He is a self made millionaire which made the class very fun! They were both amazing and there story is absolutely one to inspire. My older 2 girls were also in a class that he taught in the youth forum and they came away exploding with excitement!!

*We are setting up a Family School in our area. It will be once a week. If you live in this area, please contact me directly at my email, which is wcheftammy@msn.com so I can tell you more about our plans. We will be meeting for lunch in April sometime.

I am so thrilled to find out all these awesome quotes and scriptures that talk about energy work. I have had some fantastic experiences and I am having fun meeting lots of friends along the journey.

Some of the books I have read recently that I recommend, if you too are interested in energy work are:

*"Remembering Wholeness" by Carol Tuttle
*"Visions of Glory" by John Pontius

Natural Healing, Part 2

I have had sickness in our home this past week. So many of these ideas are very fresh on my mind. I am so grateful for "alternative" healing. They really help you feel better!

Strep Throat: This is nothing to mess around with. It can lead to further health complications if not treated and eliminated. That being said, antibiotics are NOT the ONLY way. Treat it naturally with KNOWN ways to get rid of it, for good. Here are 4 ways. Take your pick. We usually do a combination of them to get it gone for good, quickly.

1) Raw Apple Cider Vinegar. Gargle with a mixture of 1/2 cup warm water and 1 TBSP of the Raw Apple Cider Vinegar every 30 minutes for a day during the waking hours. When gargling with this mixture, be sure to get it right on the back of your throat and let a tiny bit trickle down. This is for kids (and adults) who are old enough to handle it.

2) Collodial Silver. We take 1/2 teas every 3 hours for 2 days. Do the research yourself. This is a natural anti-biotic without all the negative side effects.

3) Cayenne Pepper. Gargle with a mixture of 1/2 cup warm water and 1/2 teas. of cayenne pepper being sure to not get it on your lips. (It will burn if you get it on your lips, so be careful!) You only need to do this a couple times a day for a couple days.

4) DoTerra Essential Oils has a blend called "On Guard" that shows in studies it kills the streppococcas bacteria. We diffuse it into the air of the room we are in.We put a drop in a large quart size cup and drink on that. You can also mix it with a carrier oil like coconut, almond or olive oil. Rub it on the throat area and glands under the jaw bone. We also rub this on the area around the base of your big toe. I recommend doing some research on Reflexology. I own several books on this and it is amazing!

Other Tips: AVOID SUGAR, DAIRY, ORANGES AND GRAPEFRUITS when you have a sore throat as they can aggravate the condition. Use soft foods. I recommend healthy, nourishing foods like creamy oatmeal & cream of wheat for breakfast; broth soups and green leafy salads for dinner.

I don't recommend the typical throat lozenge they sell in the over the counter area at the grocery stores. Most of them have sugar, corn syrup, cane sugar, granulated sugar, fructose, or other forms of sugar as their main ingredient. If you want to have something to sooth your sore throat, I recommend some tea with licorice root, echinicea or other immune boosting herbs. A brand we enjoy around here is called "Traditional Medicines." Or you can buy them in bulk, typically for cheaper and my brother just told me that they last for about 7 years making them an excellent choice for home storage and emergency preparedness. You can also buy "On Guard" throat lozenges.

Once the throat is feeling better, be sure to continue eating healthy and limit sugar intake. Build up your immunity with known builders.

Wash hands often.
